- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free sweetener
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sugar-free sweetener, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill or pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully flip the salmon and brush the reserved marinade on the top. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For best results, allow the salmon to marinate longer than 15 minutes.
- Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar-free sweetener to taste.
