- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to the saucepan with marinara sauce.
- Let the meatballs simmer in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with your choice of low-carb side dishes or over zoodles (zucchini noodles).
