Description
A delicious and healthy chocolate bark made with dark chocolate, Medjool dates, and your choice of nuts.
Ingredients

- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
- ½ cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pistachios)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth.
- Remove the bowl from the microwave and let it cool slightly for a few minutes.
- Fold in the chopped dates and nuts into the melted chocolate until well combined.
- Pour the chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer using a spatula.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is completely set.
- Once set, remove the bark from the baking sheet and break it into pieces.
- Store the chocolate date bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try using different types of nuts or add a pinch of sea salt on top before freezing.
- This bark makes a great snack or dessert and can be stored for up to two weeks in the refrigerator.
