Description

A delicious low-carb alternative to traditional fish and chips, perfectly crispy and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound firm white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup pork rinds, crushed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs.
  2. In another bowl, mix the almond flour, crushed pork rinds, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Dip each fish fillet into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  5. After coating with the eggs, roll the fish fillet in the almond flour mixture until completely covered.
  6. Carefully place the coated fish fillets into the hot oil.
  7. Fry the fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove the fish from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Ensure the oil is hot enough for frying to achieve a crispy texture.
  • Experiment with different spices in the coating for varied flavors.
