Description

A delicious twist on a classic burger, stuffed with spinach and artichoke for added flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped spinach, and artichoke hearts. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to hold the filling.
  4. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. If desired, place a slice of cheese on top of each burger during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
  6. Remove burgers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the burgers on toasted buns with your choice of toppings and condiments.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or onion powder to the meat mixture.
  • These burgers can also be cooked in the oven if you don’t have a grill.
