- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cacao or higher)
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup tapioca flour or arrowroot powder
- Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the grass-fed butter and dark chocolate chips. Microwave in intervals until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Add coconut sugar to the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
- Once cooled slightly, add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each.
- Add vanilla extract and stir to combine.
- Sift in cocoa powder, tapioca flour, and sea salt. Fold gently into wet ingredients until just combined.
- If using add-ins, fold them in gently.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly soft.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before slicing into 16 squares.
Notes
- Room temperature eggs are essential to avoid seizing the chocolate.
- Do not overmix the batter to ensure fudgy brownies.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
