Ingredients

  • Ground Beef 500g (about 1 lb)
  • Noodles: 8 oz (your choice)
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce: 1/4 cup
  • brown sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Onions green 3 pieces
  • vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
  • Red pepper Flakes 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Sesame seeds: For garnish

Substitutions There are many options to use tofu or chicken for a lighter version of. Gluten-free noodles can be a good alternative if you need.


Instructions

1. Prepare your noodles as per the instructions on the package. After cooking, drain them and put aside.

2. Within a large skillet on medium heat add vegetable oil. Add the ginger and garlic and sauté for a few minutes until fragrant.

Step 3. Add the ground beef in the pan. Break it up with a spatula, and cook until it is browned.

step 4: Incorporate the soy sauce and sprinkle with the brown sugar. Stir it till the meat is coated.

Phase 5: Mix the noodles in thoroughly. Sprinkle on red pepper flakes to give the spice, if you like.

6. Add green onion and sesame seeds prior to serving.

Tips: For fresher flavors choose premium beef and fresh ginger.

Notes

  • To add a deeper flavor, you can marinate the meat in garlic and soy sauce before cooking.
  • Modify the spice level by reducing or increasing the amount of red pepper flakes.
