A quick and delicious Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Skillet using ground beef, perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the ground beef to the center.
- Cook the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
- Once the beef is cooked, mix it with the vegetables in the skillet.
- Lower the heat and sprinkle the provolone cheese over the beef and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
- Once the cheese has melted, remove from heat and serve hot.
