Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the mozzarella cheese for about 1 minute, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add melted cheese to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Add the eggs to the mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  6. Transfer the dough to the prepared sheet pan and spread it evenly to form a pizza crust.
  7. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly on top.
  9. Sprinkle the pepperoni slices over the sauce, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  10. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  12. Slice and serve warm.
