Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. You can use your hands for better mixing.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
- While the skillet heats up, shape the lamb mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs in the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and fully cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired, alongside your favorite low-carb dipping sauce or salad.
Notes
- Adjust the cayenne pepper to control the spice level.
- These meatballs are great for meal prep – they can be frozen for later use!
