Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and granulated sugar. Mix until well blended.
  3. Add the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the yogurt mixture. Whisk until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar before serving.
