Description
Keto Naan Bread is a delicious low-carb alternative to traditional naan, perfect for accompanying your favorite dishes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and Greek yogurt until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough begins to form.
- Add the melted butter or olive oil and continue mixing until you achieve a smooth, cohesive dough.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat disc, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each naan for 2-3 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and keep warm while you cook the remaining pieces.
- Serve warm, optionally brushed with more melted butter or sprinkled with herbs.
Notes
- Store any leftover naan in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- These can be frozen, just reheat before serving.
- Feel free to experiment with spices to customize the flavor.
