Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and brown them on both sides for about 5 minutes each.
  5. Remove the browned chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
  7. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until cheese is melted.
  8. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, making sure they are coated in the sauce.
  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Garnish the dish with fresh basil before serving.
