Description

Keto Cinnamon Pretzels are a delicious low-carb treat that satisfies your cravings without the guilt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sweetener (erythritol or your choice)
  • 1 egg wash (1 egg beaten with a splash of water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for an additional 30 seconds or until completely melted and combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, sweetener, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Add the melted cheese mixture and the egg to the almond flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough with your hands for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If it’s too sticky, add a little more almond flour.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a long rope, about 16 inches in length.
  7. Form each rope into a pretzel shape by twisting the ends together and securing them by tucking them under the pretzel.
  8. Place the pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush each pretzel with the egg wash.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
