Creamy Beef Noodle Bake: Comfort food that warms the soul!

- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 cups cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs to the beef mixture. Mix well until combined.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the beef mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top of the noodle mixture.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding additional spices or vegetables.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
