If you’re searching for an easy, mess-free, and downright delicious dinner option, this recipe is for you. Perfect for weeknight meals, this dish combines simplicity with mouthwatering flavor. Let’s make your next dinner a hit with this fantastic air fryer pork steak recipe.

Ingredients

  • Pork Steak: 4 pieces, approximately 1 inch thick (about 120g each).
  • Vegetable Oil: 1 tablespoon, or any other flavorless oil of choice.
  • Pork Seasoning: 1½ tablespoons of a homemade dry rub (includes dried sage, savory, cilantro, paprika, cayenne pepper, onion, and garlic granules). Store-bought alternatives work well too.
  • Salt and Black Pepper: To taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preparation

  1. Pat each pork steak dry using a kitchen paper towel.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Seasoning

  1. Lightly brush the pork steaks with vegetable oil.
  2. Season with salt, black pepper, and a generous sprinkle of the pork rub. Flip and repeat on the other side.

Step 3: Cooking

  1. Place the seasoned pork steaks in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  3. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer—it should read at least 145°F (63°C). For well-done steaks, aim for 160°F (71°C).

Step 4: Rest and Serve

  1. Allow the steaks to rest for 2–3 minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Notes

  • Season Generously: Using a homemade pork rub adds depth to the flavor.
  • Monitor Temperature: Avoid overcooking by using a meat thermometer.
  • Flip for Even Cooking: Flipping the steak ensures consistent results on both sides.
