- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice each jalapeno pepper in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half, ensuring they are generously filled.
- Place the filled jalapeno halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapenos are tender and the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapenos.
- These can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
