A delicious and easy layered dip combining cream cheese, salsa, and shredded cheddar cheese, perfect for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 jalapeño, diced (optional)
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly on the bottom of a serving dish or pie plate.
- Layer the salsa over the cream cheese, spreading it evenly.
- In another bowl, mix the sour cream and half of the chopped green onions. Spread this mixture over the salsa layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the sour cream layer.
- For added flavor, sprinkle diced jalapeño (if using) on top of the cheese.
- Finish with the remaining chopped green onions as a garnish.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
- This dip is best served cold after chilling.
- Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less jalapeño.
- Can be made a few hours in advance for convenience.
