Description

A refreshing and healthy Grünkohl (Kale) Smoothie packed with nutrients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh kale leaves, stems removed
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly wash the kale leaves under cold running water and remove the stems.
  2. In a blender, combine the kale, banana, almond milk, honey (if using), chia seeds, and pineapple chunks.
  3. Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!
