A refreshing and healthy Grünkohl (Kale) Smoothie packed with nutrients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh kale leaves, stems removed
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
Instructions
- Thoroughly wash the kale leaves under cold running water and remove the stems.
- In a blender, combine the kale, banana, almond milk, honey (if using), chia seeds, and pineapple chunks.
- Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!

- This smoothie is vegan-friendly and can be adapted with different types of milk.
- Add more fruits to increase natural sweetness if desired.
