Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

- Push the caramelized onions to the side of the skillet and add the chicken breasts to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Pour in the beef broth, ensuring the chicken is partially submerged. Bring it to a simmer.
- Cover the skillet and let the chicken cook for an additional 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked through.
- Preheat the oven broiler.
- Sprinkle the grated Gruyère cheese over the chicken and onions.
- Place the skillet under the broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
