- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out the cheese mixture and gently drop it into the hot oil, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon to form chips.
- Fry the chips for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Continue frying the remaining mixture until all chips are cooked.
- Serve the crispy cottage cheese chips warm, with your favorite dip or snack on their own.
