Description

Creamy Coconut Meatball Korma Curry is a flavorful dish featuring meatballs simmered in a rich coconut milk and curry sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, chicken, or lamb)
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  2. Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the curry powder over the meatballs and stir to coat them evenly.
  5. Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.
  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh cilantro.
