Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Water, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. If using garlic powder, add it at this stage.
  2. Mix the ingredients until they form a dough. If the mixture is too dry, add water, one tablespoon at a time, until it comes together.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
  5. Roll each ball into a flat circle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  7. Place one flatbread in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining flatbreads.
  8. Serve warm, topped with your favorite dips or as a side with meals.
