Description

A delicious low-carb casserole made with ground beef and broccoli, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 400g broccoli
  • 200g cream cheese
  • 100g grated cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Wash and chop the broccoli into small florets.
  3. In a pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli for about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  5. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Reduce the heat, then stir in cream cheese until well combined and melted.
  7. In a baking dish, layer the blanched broccoli and the beef mixture evenly.
  8. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the mixture.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

  • For extra flavor, you can add herbs such as thyme or oregano.
