Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated erythritol
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, erythritol, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to combine.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add melted butter and orange extract. Mix well until combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
