- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Rub the olive oil all over the chicken thighs.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture generously over the chicken, making sure to coat all sides.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of the cooking time.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and enjoy!
